T.Litzen Sports Ltd, the Canadian leader in Team and Institutional sporting goods is expanding and currently looking to add a Sales Professional for the Cornwall/Brockville/Kingston/Napanee Region.The position is full-time and may consist of days, evenings and weekends.
As the exclusive provider and distributor for lines such as of Nike Team & Fundamentals, Riddell football, Battle, Founders Group and much more. We are a major wholesaler and distributor of these and other well-known brands and products that support programs nationwide. We’re are looking to further strengthen our market share and add to our nationwide team of sales professionals.
Candidates should have a passion for sports, must possess strong social and organizational skills, enjoy community involvement, be highly energetic and be self motivated with exceptional communication skills.

Position overview:

• Develop strategic marketing campaigns, develop and create programs, features & specials.
• Analyze market trends, manage promotional activities, understanding of client relationships (social media)
• Improve product marketability and profitability
• Brand Management
• Generate leads, and executing sales strategies to meet targets
•Dealing with customers and salesreps, such as responding to inquires in a helpful and friendly manner
• Source new sales opportunities
• Understand customer needs and requirements
• Assist business development manager in creating and building sales opportunities and programs to be presented and distributed throughout the sales force
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
• Maintain and expand sales
• Work with business development manager & sales management to channel customers to build pipeline
Skills required:
• Graphic Design Diploma (college)
• Social Media Advertising
• Strong interest and knowledge in the Sports Industry (including school/team market within Canada)
• Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi task and meet deadlines
• Demonstrate behaviors that support teamwork, innovation, and accountability
• Strong attention to detail skills with ability to review work for accuracy
